    I loved the race.
Perfect weather, perfect course and perfect people.
First time for me but no the last one.
Can’t wait to participated next year and hit a PR.
Had a wonderful time even though I had 70 miles in my legs.
Didn’t reach my goal for a minute. wahhhhh.
Thank you to all of you.

I had heard great things about this race (other than possibly tough weather conditions), and they were all correct. I had a great time at this VERY well supported race. Clear mile markers, plenty of water stops, tons of volunteers and amazingly supportive police officers all along the route. Some towns tolerate road races, New Bedford embraced it. Highly recommended, I will be back.

Awesome race. I had a PR and cant wait for next year. Everyone involved were terrific. EJ’s comments about the police and New Bedford embracing the race are right on the mark. The police were terrific. The chowder and fish sandwich hit the spot. See you next year.

I first have to say that the police officers were VERY supportive though out the whole course. Never seen anything like it..great job guys! This was my first half-marathon and they along with all the fans were very encouraging. Thank you New Bedford for making my first marathon a great one that I’ll never forget. Finished in 1:36:50 because of you!
