RESTAURANT RUN – Spectators and others visiting Downtown New Bedford for the Half Marathon Road Race will get a special treat this year – a “Downtown Restaurant Run.” Restaurants, pubs and sandwich shops will be offering discounts, special menu items and free samples of their specialties. Not to be outdone, Downtown retailers will feature race day discounts and Downtown museums will be open free to the public.
